Puerto Vallarta is a paradise full of surprises, it is surrounded by majestic islands and the bay has great depths; three of the islands are clearly visible, and those are the Marietas Islands. One of those treasures is one of the highest valued Natural Jewels of the Mexican Pacific, the famous Hidden Beach or Playa del Amor.

This small yet fantastic beach is found under a crater formed by the ocean waves over the centuries. To get there you have to be a good swimmer and have an acceptable physical condition. Visitors here have to swim close to 84 yards from the ship to the entrance of the partially underwater cave, plus another 13 yards through the cave before they reach Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach).
